The Frankfurt Short Stipend Program is targeted at international scientists on all stages wishing to pursue their next career step in Germany, ideally in the field of ubiquitin and autophagy research. Fellows will travel to the Frankfurt region for a short stay of one to two weeks and can expect a comprehensive program with site visits to participating biomedical research institutions in the Rhine-Main region. There will be plenty of opportunities to present themselves and their research at participating institutions. Guidance will be given regarding funding opportunities in Germany, dual career options and relocation to Germany. This part of the program will be strongly supported by central offices from Goethe University such as the Goethe Welcome Centre and the Office of the Executive Board as well as the Equal Opportunities Office.
The Short Stipend Program allows scientists from abroad to get a deep insight into the exceptional opportunities in the Rhine-Main region within the UBAUT networks and beyond.
Accepted fellows will receive assistance by the coordination office in planning all further details of their stay, e.g. an exact outline of the visit schedule and travel arrangements, and based on this a cost plan will be agreed. Costs for travel and subsistence will be carried by the UBAUT program in accordance with the DFG and Goethe University’s travel guidelines.
